About UDAI
The Unified Drone Airspace Interface is digital public infrastructure for low-altitude airspace in India. It provides a shared registry and management system for controlled unmanned aerial operations used by regulators, manufacturers, and operators.
Developed by Drone Federation India (DFI). Hosted by Airports Authority of India (AAI).
Drone Federation India
DFI is the lead organisation for technical architecture, the governance model, and long-term sustainability as digital public infrastructure. It maintains open standards, vendor-neutral access, and alignment with national aviation policy.
Airports Authority of India
AAI hosts UDAI exclusively. National-scale reliability, operational hosting, and air navigation stewardship sit with the air navigation service provider.
