Licensing

The technical documentation and software components of UDAI are developed and maintained by Drone Federation India (DFI).

Documentation

The technical documentation, including API specifications and data models, is the intellectual property of Drone Federation India.

  • Permissible use. You may use, copy, and reference this documentation to build integrations with UDAI.
  • Ownership. All rights, title, and interest in this documentation are reserved by Drone Federation India.
  • Restrictions. Redistribution of modified documentation as a competing standard is prohibited.

Software

Access to UDAI core services is provided under a software-as-a-service model for the public drone ecosystem.

  • Proprietary rights. Software, logic, source code, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Drone Federation India.
  • No reverse engineering. Integrators may not decompile or reverse engineer UDAI service components.

Regulatory compliance

UDAI operates within national aviation and digital infrastructure law.

  • Jurisdiction. Disputes arising from use of the platform are subject to the laws and courts of the primary operating jurisdiction.
  • Other permits. Use of UDAI does not exempt an Organisation or User from obtaining other legal permits, including pilot certifications and spectrum licences.

Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as is. Accuracy of Constraint Engine and safety data is pursued with institutional care. The platform is not liable for operational errors or hardware failures on the client side.

The UDAI name and logo are trademarks of Drone Federation India.
